Welcome to Red Hill Special School; a Queensland Department of Education and Training school campus where quality teaching provides great learning opportunities. Located just five kilometres from the Brisbane GPO, we provide highly adapted and individualised programs for children and students with complex educational needs.
Presently our school is split across two campuses, Junior Campus; Located on Waterworks Rd, catering for students from ECDP through to late primary years, and Our Senior Campus; located in Fulcher Rd which supports our students through to their final year at school.
The Department of Education has plans to amalgamate both campuses and have them located at the Fulcher Rd Site with the current expected completion in 2026.
The guiding principle for our school is all children have an inalienable right to an education. We achieve this aim through caring and professional staff members offering a curriculum which caters for all ability groups, taking into consideration their range of individual needs and abilities.
Our programs cater for children and students from birth to school leaving age.
Our friendly staff work collaboratively with special education teachers, teacher aides, therapists, nurses, Guidance Officers, ancillary staff, volunteers and the administration team to provide specialised teaching and learning experiences.
