Testing and assessment

At Red Hill Special School we focus on evidence based practices and the collection of student achievement data to assist in the assessment and reporting process. Written reports will be issued twice each year at the end of Semester One and Semester Two. It is the policy of this school to hold Parent/Teacher sessions usually in Term One and when requested in Term Three.

Parents are requested to read the reports and discuss with classroom teachers any information that may be necessary in helping the school to achieve its stated aim of helping your child reach their maximum potential.  Close co-operation is sought between home and school so as to give your child his/her best chance of reaching their full potential and to accommodate their particular teaching/learning needs.

At any stage throughout the school year parents may request a meeting with their child’s classroom teacher, administration or student service providers through contacting either the office or classroom teacher.
